For RevOps · the integration

Captures land in HubSpot as they happen.

Contacts, notes, and event tags push in the background. This page is the full list of what writes where — and what deliberately doesn't.

The write list

See exactly what Athel writes.

Every write is listed here. If it isn't on this list, Athel doesn't touch it.

  • Contacts — matched by email before anything is created; existing records update, never duplicate
  • Notes and voice-note write-ups — timeline engagements on the contact
  • The event's tag, list, and labels — HubSpot Campaign, "Athel:" list, qualification labels
  • Workspace-scoped — your data stays in your workspace; private notes stay private

Follow-up emails Athel drafts open in your email app with HubSpot's logging address already BCC'd — every send lands on the contact's timeline.

Event feedback becomes CRM context

Your team's structured event feedback — ratings, what worked, competitor mentions, lead quality — syncs to HubSpot as a note, attached to the event's record when you use a custom object. It's there for budgeting season, on the HubSpot record everyone already looks at.

And what deliberately doesn't sync

Follow-ups stay in Athel — they're your reps' working list, not CRM noise. And we don't write to HubSpot's Marketing Events object: its participation records can't carry per-contact, per-event qualification. The full reasoning: Where Athel lands in HubSpot.

No HubSpot? Athel works on its own — capture everything and export your contacts and notes anytime. See pricing for what's included on each plan.

Your stack

Athel captures. HubSpot stays the record.

Your properties, workflows, and reports keep working — Athel feeds them from the field.

  • Sync runs on a queue with retries — a blip doesn't lose a capture
  • Failures surface in the app — disconnected states are explicit, nothing drops silently
  • HubSpot Campaigns or your own custom object — you pick the target
  • Import works too — pull your HubSpot campaign contacts in to work an event

You don't migrate. You don't retrain RevOps. You add a thirty-second mobile capture layer in front of the CRM you already pay for.

Your questions, answered

Who can see what my team captures?

Access is scoped to your workspace — company accounts see their company's records, individual accounts see their own. Notes marked private stay visible only to the person who wrote them. Your data isn't sold, and it isn't used to train models.

Does Athel replace HubSpot?

No. Athel is the field capture layer. Your contacts and HubSpot Campaigns stay where they are — Athel writes to them. Your existing reports, workflows, and properties keep working unchanged.

Will it create duplicate contacts?

No — captures are matched by email against your portal before anything is created. Existing contacts get the new note and event tag; only genuinely new people become new records.

Which Athel plans include HubSpot sync?

Solo Pro, Team, and the Event Pack. Free and Solo run without a CRM — connect later if you move up. Every plan exports to CSV.

What if we disconnect?

Everything Athel wrote stays in HubSpot; everything in Athel stays exportable to CSV. Disconnect any time from Settings — and you can revoke the OAuth from HubSpot's Connected Apps panel too.

The full mapping — objects, associations, labels — is written up in the Playbook: Where Athel lands in HubSpot.
